The southeast is proud to have High as its leading art museum with some 15 thousand works of art from the last two centuries, the art collections ranging from European to African American, with a special emphasis on the South.

Its works are exhibited online through Google Cultural Institute and it's providing the region with the broad selection of art while offering a unique perspective. From modern and contemporary to folk art and photography, from African art to decorative arts objects, including stained glass and furniture.

The museum is lead by Randall Suffolk, an all-American museum curator with an impressive record of educational and art programs leadership. Other curators are also top professionals in their field and academics.

Happenings include Toddler Thursdays and Friday Nights (half-price admission after 4 p.m.), talks, drawing sessions and jazz evenings. Collectors get to vote for works of art to be entered into the permanent collection at the High.
