Tin Lizzy's Cantina

Tin Lizzy opened in 2005 by an agreement of the longtime college friends. Now the restaurant has several locations throughout Atlanta, and it’s still expanding. Each spot is a fun and delicious place with delicious food and decent service.

Today Tin Lizzy’s is a place mostly favored for a quiet meal over work or a meeting with a couple of old friends for refreshing drinks and tasty FlexMex cuisine. The menu is made up from and influenced by many countries, it’s similar to what we know today as Tex-Mex but there is more defining flair to it.

Portions are big, prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is laid back and multiple locations help to spread the buzz and have another Tin Lizzy's not far from your neighborhood. As reviews of the place go, servers and bartenders are both friendly and attentive, and the whole staff usually go out of their way to make your dining experience a good one.

My wife and I went to the East Cobb location on April 18, 2017. We were seated outside, we waited about 7-10 minutes for someone to greet us & take our drink order. At that time another party was seated next to us and a server (Taylor) greeted them within 30 seconds. I asked as to why no one had taken our drink order, Taylor wasn’t sure why but said she could go ahead & do it. Taylor & other servers had walked by us numerous times and never acknowledged us. The manager (Letty) explained that the server assigned to our table had not come to work yet, that was her explanation for us not being greeted by a server. We decided to leave & go someplace else. As we were leaving another party was seated at THE SAME TABLE we were at & was promptly greeted by a server who had been there the entire time & had walked past us several times. At that point, I realized that we had been the only customers in the outside dining area who were a minority. It made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed.
