This venue attracts you at the first glance on its tremendous redbrick building with a bright sparkling signboard announcing a show being presented at the moment. The Palace Theatre was built in the last decades of the nineteenth century and was meant to be a space for English opera performances.

The theatre’s first production actually was an opera, but it lasted for one season only. After several months’ successful run, the performances were finished, and the theatre was closed and then sold to its new owners.

The new vision of the place became extremely successful: it became the home to loads of popular musicals. Attending one of the Palace Theatre’s performances will definitely be an exciting event.
