The first Bowlmor Lanes opened in 1938. It lived happily and successfully through the 60s when bowling was fashionable. Bowlmor Lanes was where the important tournaments took place, where people came not only to have a good time but to break and set records. In 1958 Richard Nixon famously tried his luck at this club's bowling alley.
The place retains a lot of its old-fashioned charm despite having adapted to modern tastes. Themed rooms make bowling a lot more intriguing than usual.
