If you are skeptical about taking small children to a museum, you may forget your fears with this one. Brooklyn Children’s Museum is nothing like your typical idea of a museum. In fact, it is a huge indoor play area. Kids can easily spend the whole day here.

The enormous space is broken into different zones. There are some that simulate a bakery, a travel agency and a few other professional set-ups, so kids can play at working in them. There is a wonderful water area, another one where kids try out the crafts. Don’t forget a big quiet library and various exhibitions. The latter change regularly.

Children’s Museum is perfect for all types of activities: fast- or slow-paced, detail-oriented or creative. Whether your kid wants to build a toy model or run around, you will find the necessary space and equipment here. All in all, an incredible option for indoor activities.
