Joe and Rocco Delillo decided to open their pastry shop in 1925. The idea was to bring the taste of their native Italy to the Bronx. This is how they started their family-run business in the heart of Little Italy.
Now De Lillo Pastry Shop is one of the favorites among nearby employees and locals who want to experience the taste and smell of Italy right here in the Bronx. Here you can try some of the best espressos and cappuccinos in addition to a long pastry case that includes Eclairs, Napoleons, cannoli, custard-filled babas and much more.
For many decades, the venue has been baking authentic Italian desserts. The shop has a separate outdoor patio that is opened during warm months. Local stouts and other beverages are served here. A perfect place for you to pull up a chair and enjoy some gelato.
