When Tim and Micki came up with an idea to open their own bistro, it took them one year of hard work, permanent studying, planning, creating and dreaming. But they were eventually rewarded for their patience and devotion. It all resulted in founding a cozy and intimate venue featuring the atmosphere of a London pub in combination with a classical French bistro.
In other words, they took all the best they could creating one of the top rank NYC’s venues perfect for brunch and dinner. Now Tim who used to be an engineer keeps experimenting with different meals and develops his craft in collaboration with the finest chefs.
Micki was the guidance force and inspiration for opening Jack the Horse Tavern. She never gave up believing in her success. Such desperate belief lets them keep the venue on track even today. Her true passion for art and design is reflected in decorating features of this homey and welcoming little tavern.
