Madison Square Garden

The world famous Madison Square Garden, or plain old MSG to its friends, has been bringing in huge crowds on a regular basis for almost half a century. It's the home to some of New York's favorite sports teams and is one of the first dates on the diaries of the biggest names in music when they're planning a tour.

No matter where you go in the world people will have heard the name Madison Square Garden. This legendary venue opened in February 1968 and quickly established itself as one of the premier venues in the country for a number of different sports and recreational activities, almost five decades later it is still the biggest and busiest in the city and is the third busiest concert venue in the world in regards to ticket sales.

It is also home to some of the city's most feverishly supported sports fans being as it is the home to the Rangers, the Knicks, and Liberty, most nights of the year this place is packed to the rafters with screaming fans of one persuasion or another cheering on a team or a touring band. The biggest names in music will come here every year to perform and there's even a smaller theater for more intimate shows and touring comedians.
