On the one hand, Poe Park is a good entertaining destination. It features extended event calendar with a lot of open-air festivals, fairs, and live shows. Guests are free to take part in cooking demonstrations and professional classes as well as buy fresh produce from local farmers.

On the other hand, the venue is rather attractive from the historical point of view. Famous American poet Edgar Allan Poe bought here a white farmhouse to spend the last years of his life in peace and tranquility. His house is known as Poe’s Cottage and is one of the main historical attractions of the park.

Opened in 1902, the park comes as a gathering space for residents and families to get involved in a full range of activities from food and drink festivals to funny competitions and contests. Locally grown foods and vegetables will be a great matching for a perfect time spent outdoors.
