Being somehow a part of the Prospect Part New York, the namesake zoo is situated on its eastern side, providing access to an amazing world of wildlife.

The Prospect Park Zoo had been operated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation before it was closed for reconstruction. In some time, it recommenced to host visitors, with an already changed profile, under the name of the Prospect Park Wildlife Conservation Center.

The Prospect Park Zoo is a part of an integrated system of one aquarium, four zoos and several zones that propose various activities for children and just everyone who loves animals.

The Zoo is a venue for different exhibitions as well, so if you follow the news, you can come across a curious event and choose something for your taste.
