Streetbird Rotisserie

Harlem is on the map with this chicken-centered establishment by a celeb chef and Red Rooster owner Marcus Samuelsson. Boom boxes cover the walls and eclectic eats with your choice of sauce dance along.

Crispy bird, rotisserie chicken (the sauces are: Smokey Q, Sweet Soy, Jamerican, Green Cowboy and, you guessed it, Hot Sauce), General Ye's crispy chicken with mango and peanuts, the Crispy Bird sandwich, and Return of the Mac'n'cheese (rigatoni in cheddar, Parmesan and crispy shallots). Soul food as it is, as the Harlem chef is a legend.

The poultry spot is inspired by Harlem Americana with some awesomely playful décor (the artists involved include Cey Adams, who designed album covers for hip-hop stars), has its roots in the world street food, and looks at the birth of hip-hop for inspiration. Rotisserie birds are available for takeaway or get delivered to your kitchen. DJs play on Mondays and the Byrd Bar features live music nights.
