Coney Island used to be a famous resort for New Yorkers. Locals would come here and spend their holidays, spare time and summers playing on the beach laying in the sun by the ocean and taking rides in the famous Cyclone roller coaster. In time things have changes and the resort suffered some major cutbacks. At a certain point when things seemed lost the management from Luna Park decided to step up and solve the issue. Luna Park is a perfect place to take your kids, they will surely enjoy the rides on The Tickler or the speedy Air Race where you experience four Gs or the Wild River Log flume with a splash landing. If you acre for some extreme rides and thrills you can always try the Sling Shot or the Boarderwalk Flight Sky-Coaster. This park will offer you some classic Coney island fun just like the old New Yorkers had in the first Luna Park opened in 1903 until it was destroyed by fire in 1944. You don't need to come for a ride just drop by and have a look it's free.
