Tired of average coffee with an all-too-familiar synthetic flavor? There are coffee spots in New York where you can taste the real deal, no pumpkin spice, no eggnog, nothing milquetoast about this coffee. Slightly off the beaten track, too.
Blue Bottle Coffee was named after the first coffee house in Central Europe. The idea in both cases was simple: to give people the best and freshest coffee possible. What started out as a small Oakland, CA coffee house with dedicated owner and staff, turned into a whole network with locations on both coasts.
Blue Bottle’s main principle is to deliver coffee to the customers no later than 48 hours after the roast so that they could enjoy the full flavor. Vintage equipment plus honest enthusiasm and attention to details give Blue Bottle coffee its unmistakable taste. Berry Street spot takes all of these ingredients and throws in a free coffee cupping every Friday at 12pm.
