If stunning views are what you seek then look no further than Highland Park. Situated on a high plateau between Brooklyn and Queens, the park looks out across the Atlantic Ocean, the Rockaways and Ridgewood Reservoir. Originally forming its present shape back in 1906 and 1908, the park is extremely popular with the locals from both boroughs and is an important part of the community.

There are hands-on classrooms in the form of children’s farm gardens, barbecue areas and sports courts and fields for playing tennis, handball, baseball and basketball. The pathway around the Ridgewood Reservoir is a very popular walking and exercise area while the reservoir itself is home to over 150 species of birds. You’ll spend many happy hours in this wonderful location!
